Congratulations to Julie T. from Sam Houston High School, our March 2017 Student of the Month! Julie is an exemplary student who has been an AISD student all of her life and is now a leader at Sam Houston High School.
Julie is involved in many different areas at Sam Houston. She’s senior class president, plays tennis and performs with Texans on Stage. She’s in AVID, National Honor Society, Earth and Science Club, Key Club, and Business Professionals of America. She’s also on the Student Leadership Advisory Board and she’s the high school representative on our Citizens Oversight Bond Committee. And, on top of all of that, she’s a Richard Greene Scholar.
Julie spends much of her time outside of school volunteering with the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses and assisting local elderly people. Julie plans to double major in biomedical engineering and political science to give her options of medical school or law school after her undergrad. She is leaning toward attending Yale University.
Julie is a top-notch student, an excellent musician, she’s very artistic and a wonderful leader at Sam Houston. Congratulations, Julie!
