AISD receives Oncor incentive payment for LoanSTAR Energy Efficiency Project

As a participant in Oncor's Commercial Standard Offer Energy Efficiency Program, AISD recently received a $95,051 incentive payment to support the development of the LoanSTAR Energy Efficiency project. The incentive funds provided by Oncor were administered to help offset the cost of the energy efficiency project completed in the district.

The incentive amount was determined by the total of energy and demand savings the project will save as a result of its efforts. The LoanSTAR Energy upgrade project will save the equivalent to the carbon dioxide emissions of more than 1,007,373 pounds of coal.
